Credit Transfers

     Massage Connection accepts credit transfers from other states, schools, or licensing programs. We will let you know if there are any additional classes you will need to take, and your cost for the transfer. You must fulfill Washington States required classroom hours:

265 hours Massage Theory and Practice                                             130 hours Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology                                  55   hours Clinical/Business practices                                                   50   hours Pathology

  Transfer students will receive the same benefits as our graduates (see benefits of our school). 

     Please contact us at any time if you have any questions. We will need any  transcript, certificate, or paperwork you have from your previous school or program. You may fax, mail, or email them to us. We are happy to assist you in the transfer process.

Participants will learn the art of Infant Massage using a variety of techniques from several modalities. Students will learn massage for the healthy as well as the premature infant, along with how to massage the toddler. Upon completion of this class participants will have the skills to work with infants and their parents in a variety of settings.

As a hands-on treatment form, this Japanese healing art passes a warm healing current of Vital Life Force Energy through the hands of the practitioner into the person being treated. This energy is a wonderful companion to Massage Therapy. You will learn the background and history of Reiki, receive attunements and practice Reiki on yourself, others and different situations.

 Aromatic Body Stone Therapy

In stone massage, both hot and cold stones can be combined with various massage techniques to produce a unique treatment that can be adapted to meet the needs of each client. Stone massage can be used for relaxation, injury rehabilitation, energy balance, deep tissue reflexology and can also be incorporated into spa treatments. This foundation workshop of ABST prepares participants to deliver a 90 min. full body stone massage and create therapeutic aromatherapy blends. Detailed demonstrations, plenty of hands-on practice and a comprehensive packet of written materials, diagrams and pictures make this workshop popular and practical. Currently, ABST is taught on the east and west coast and we have trained over 2000 therapists in the Seattle area alone!

              CPR and First Aid Course

Course content includes general principles, medical and injury emergencies. Topics including CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) and environmental emergencies.
